Rachel Fachner

Rachel Fachner comes to choreography from a multi-disciplinary background, and holds a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Rachel's choreography has been performed at Triskelion Arts, NYU, and One Arm Red. As a playwright, her work has been performed at NYU, and with Breedingground Theatre Company. Rachel recently directed La Turista by Sam Shepard with Solid Hang at Collective Unconscious. Other venues and companies she has worked with include: The Stable, Clubbed Thumb, Dixon Place, LAByrinth Theatre Co. at the Public, Target Margin Theatre Co., Tandem Otter, Salt Theatre, and other. projecttransparence.wordpress.com


Danica Kalemdaroglu

Danica R. Kalemdaroglu is originally from Norfolk, VA and has always been a mover. She holds an M.F.A. in dance from University of Colorado, at Boulder, as well as a B.A. in dance from Goucher College. She is also a certified Pilates instructor living and teaching in the D.C. area. Throughout her life in dance, Danica has studied under and performed the works of many visionary artists such as Elbert Watson, Bebe Miller, Kevin Wynn, and Meisha Bosma. Meghan McCoy

Meghan McCoy graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2002 with a BFA in Dance. Since then, she has had the pleasure of performing with Jin-Wen Yu Dance, Katherine Kiefer Stark, Eva Dean Dance, Nora Stephens/ noranewdanceco, Esse Aficionado, Becky Radway, Rachel Fachner, and iN.D.dance/Nicole Durfee and Dancers. Her work has been seen at Triskelion Arts, Waxworks, The Jack Guidone Theater (Washington, D.C.), and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Becky Radway

Becky Radway has had the pleasure of performing with the Kevin Wynn Collection, Incidents Physical Theater, Heidi Latsky Dance, Ezra Caldwell, Leonides Arpon, Nicole Durfee, Meghan McCoy and Rachel Fachner. A graduate of Goucher College, her choreography has been featured at Alvin Ailey's Citigroup Theatre, the Cunningham Studio, University Settlement, Soho Playhouse, Triskelion Arts, One Arm Red, The Stable, as well as the Jack Guidone Theater in Washington, D.C. and various locations around the Baltimore vicinity including Towson University, Goucher College, Oldfields School, and Arundel High School.  www.beckyradwaydanceprojects.com

Megan Morse Jans of DragonFly Dance Experiment

Megan joined us for IN TRANSIT in Washington, DC - November 2006, and again for FLUX in Brooklyn, NY - December 2007.

DragonFly Dance Experiment is co-directed by Megan Morse Jans of Washington, DC and Danica Kalemdaroglu of Richmond, VA. DragonFly is a physical theater/contemporary dance company that experiments with modern and aerial dance, as well as multi-media. dragonflydance.weebly.com


Morgan Murphey

Morgan joined us for FLUX in Brooklyn, NY - December 2007.

Morgan Murphey is a 2003 graduate of NYU and Playwrights Horizons Theater School with a focus in original work and sound design. Morgan is a company member of Banana Bag & Bodice and a volunteer with Our Time Theater Company, an artistic home for kids who stutter. Recent choreography and performance includes a duet movement piece 'Portraiture, a work in progress' (choreographer/She), 'A Mouthful of Birds' (Agave) by Caryl Churchill, and 'When Things Stopped' (The Woman), a collaborative adapted piece (Memoirs of a Survivor) directed and choreographed by Marleen Pennison. Morgan teaches in the Creating Original Work program at Playwrights Horizons Theater School.


Nicole Durfee of in.D.dance/Nicole Durfee and Dancers

Nicole joined us for IN TRANSIT in Brooklyn, NY - December 2006.

Nicole Durfee received her Masters of Fine Arts in dance performance and choreography at Florida State University, where she danced in works by Jawole Zollar, Terry Creach, Dan Wagoner, and Brent Schneider (among other). Her choreography was selected for inclusion in the FSU On Tour performance series of 2004. Durfee moved to NYC shortly after graduation and founded iN.D.dance in Spring 2005. Her work has recently been presented at Dance New Amsterdam, University Settlement, Triskelion Arts, White Mountain Summer Dance Festival, One Arm Red, and Danspace St. Mark's (as assistant choreographer to Jeffrey Freeze, Associate Director of Heidi Latsky Dance.) inddance.com

Kate, Cortney and Leah joined us for here/restless in Brooklyn, NY - April 2006.

Kate Martel is from Amherst, MA and graduated from Goucher College in 2002 with a B.A. in Dance and Education. She then moved to New York and has had the good fortune to work with Nora Stephens/noranewdanceco, Becky Radway, Miguel Gutierrez and Juliette Mapp. She is currently working with Jessica Morgan and Luis Lara Malvacias. Recently, Kate, Cortney and Leah presented their first collaborative work, "Interlusion," at Triskelion Arts.

fivefour is the artistic collaboration of Cortney McGuire & Leah Nelson. They began in 2004 as a duet company, focusing on creating an unconventional, rhythmic and liberating movement style. Within the past two years, fivefour expanded to collaborate with a composer, Jeff Snyder, who has created original, live scores for two projects. Their work has been presented in Colorado, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and various New York City venues including Joyce SoHo, Dance New Amsterdam, Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, d.u.m.b.o. Dance Festival, and Chashama. After nearly sold-out crowds and encouraging feedback at their self-produced show, fivefour will hold another evening length program under the production of Triskelion Arts in November 2007. www.fivefourdances.org
